The Car

This is 'Marigold'. Named by her previous owner for the past 30 years, she is a 1969 2CV AZU van with a 602cc engine.

She started off as a patisserie van in Holland but spent the last 30 years travelling Europe and North Africa modified into a mini camper van. Sadly her owner is now too old to drive her and she spent the last few years stored in a garage in Leytonstone, east London awaiting an uncertain future.

Deeply reliable and well looked after she had however never been registered or insured in any country nor ever been through an Mot or similar.

After a long and hard battle with the DVLA, Marigold has now got her first proper registration papers and is ready for her ultimate adventure.
